The war has ended, membership has dropped from 400 before the war to
173, since the coming of peace the club has received many applications
for enrolment into the club, membership has risen to two guineas, Petrol
restrictions are still enforced, President, Sir Hickman Bacon, such a
leading light in pioneer motoring, has passed away on the eve of
his 90th Birthday.
Lincolnshire Automobile Club is once
again out to prove that they can make this club the finest County
Motoring Club in the Country.
Follow this epic journey into motor
sports and Rallying, the merger of two clubs and the formation of a
Classic Car Section.
